276 minerals 124 gas, who would pay that much for a unit that is called 'scout' and can easily lose a match vs a marine?
scouts seem to be effective in the large but whos gonna pay 20k for a few groups of scouts, whose ground damage is almost nothing and air damage is easily replaced by corsairs

It creates diversity into the game. Scout's are pretty expensive yes, but they do a lot of air damage. In decent numbers, they are very strong against carriers, guardians, battle cruisers etc..

^^ Scouts aren't meant to be a staple unit it's a situational late game response unit - not terrible but definitely wouldn't make en masse at any point before you've scouted massive air units

I use scout rushes vs t they go normal fe build I get 1 goon 2 star gates 4 scouts almost always get to there base befor turrets pops up good way to pressure t early and cutting his scvs the hard part is keeping ur scouts alive long enough to keep him home
