Yes, i7 and that video card will run SC2 with no problems.

i7 is, last I checked, the best thing on the market. It will do literally anything you will do in the next five years. You will never use it to its full potential.

Get any mobo, as long as you don't get one that's like 20 bucks. i7 is an investment; protect it with a medium-priced mobo. Make sure to get one that has all the connectors you need.

I don't know shit about video cards but if it's expensive it's probably good.

gtx 580 is a very good video card but its about to be 3 generations old which doesnt really matter
