Been away from sc2 for a few seasons now and looking to come back.

I heard someone on a stream say the ladders have been restructured.

Can anyone tell me what actually happened and what the outcome of this is?

Just master league used to be 8% which meant that diamond players felt like they were super imba.
Now master league is back to the original 2% (how it was actually designed) and a lot of "master" players got placed back to diamond or even platinum.
Now all those people are whining.

Not sure if it was ever as high as 8%, I remember it being 5 but blizzard made it really easy to get into that league.
