Find a stream you like, copy them 100%. Do stuff they do that you don't. One of the biggest resources people often neglect, but use it since it's extremely unique to have access to professional commentary on a live stream.

Watch teamliquid live streams. they're not super godlike pros, but some are middle to top NA grandmasters. i like to watch SelecT and DeMuslim specifically (for terran players).
sometimes they'll comment during their games. it's fun to watch and learn.
