So, I got a video board that is old as fuck, it's the Nvidia 9400 GT.

It handles the game, but whenever I get to late game, mainly TvZ where the zerg has 10000 lings and I'm maxed, the fps drops and than the game lags hard, it makes it very hard to micro.

I just want to make sure this issue is happening because of the video board before I buy a new one. My internet connection is fine.
Could it be another part of my PC making this happen?

And what video board would you recomend? I want a common but good one since I have to find it in a store in my city, and I don't live in the dream land.

what kind of cpu do you have? and you definitely need a better video card. For the price/performance I bought the gtx 560 and it works nicely in my i7

Also how much ram and whats it clocked to?

2 GB ram

It's a shitty CPU, pentium dual core E5500 @ 2.80 GHz

What would be a decent set up? I don't really understand when it comes to building PC's

Yeah man, it sucks lol :/
Wich one you think I should buy? I got like $300 to spend on it, but where I live things are more expensive than in US.

The problem could also be your processor...that's pretty out-dated. IMO save up for awhile and invest in a whole new rig.
