started playin sc2 ( totally nooby playstyle and no build order / strat either )

started and got placed in bronze like normal...
all i getting matched up with : plat diamond master ( last season and a few this season too )
watched their history and they won like 24/28 games... why teh fckin hell get i matched as a fckin new player with such high players??? how should i even learn anything there... it's like oh great let him lose all games so he can quit this game asap and we nn to create new server for so many players...

Maybe they played unranked?

Welp... guess that leaves you with two options, get good or gtfo

If you are a zerg player make sure you watch and re-watch the drone timing and queen inject ones as well.

i resumed playing myself - had a break for 1/2 a year or so.

i started in silver - and it is flooded with ex-diamonds who didnt play for a long time, too.
dont worry about their past leagues. quite a few of them suck pretty much

This is due to blizzards change to the ladder system at HotS. It's impossible to be demoted mid season now, so the matchmaking has to accommodate for that by making it harder to be promoted unless the system is absolutely sure your at a stable mmr to match the higher league. I had a similar problem myself being stuck in plat for something like 50+ games playing all former/current diamond/masters. While it was very discouraging playing those players and being stuck in my league, eventually it promoted me. So at the least I guess you could take it as a measure of skill that your playing higher level people despite not yet being promoted.
