D2JSP Team League



Last time we did this, a stacked, top heavy, bullshit Team Shiny reigned victorious from the likes of Team Raine. It was still a fun and glorious event, and we're trying to continue this tradition to field some good games.

What is it?
It's a D2jsp team league fight. Once we have enough to field two teams, we'll do a draft with two captains. I was thinking Rick/Burzum if they can play, as they were once the most active (& masters level) in this forum.

When is it?
It's this coming weekend (either on the night of 8th, 9th, or 10th). If you have plans, cancel them. If you plan on staying home, good for having your priorities straight.

Why should I play in it?
Everyone complains sc2 is dead around here. Maybe it is. Jsp needs you in a time of crisis!

Who can play in it?
It's open to all leagues, from Bronze, Nevada, Gold, and up. If you're a lurker here, or you don't post as much, you're encouraged to sign-up!Note, alot of people I've fielded interest from haven't touched the game in ages. I'm in like plat, so don't think you'll have to be in Masters to have a good time.

Format:
Pro-league Style. If you're not familiar with is, it's the opposite of an all-kill format GSTL uses. There are set maps, and we'll try to make it so your opponent is around the same league as you. Ideally, we'll aim for two 5-player teams, but its just as easy to get 7/9-player teams as well.

Prize Pool:

I'll donate 50fg to both the winner and the loser of the most entertaining game.
Donations are welcomed, but regardless, lets have some fun with this tournament.

I think we have around 5 people expected to play, but even if you confirmed your interest last topic, please lmk again.

We'll try to do this on November 9th. I'd still want Rick and Burzum to be captains if possible.
