As some of you might have heard we're trying to bring life to e-sports in eastern Europe, mainly in Hungary for now, I anyways wanted a topic for it, to let you guys know that Starcraft 2 is just about to be born, not dying as many says, I hope to see you guys between at the viewers of at least the English stream which will be provided by my team, Poisoned Hearts. Here is my letter which summarizes the event as it is right now (which is being sent to a few companies where we have good contacts). I'd appreciate thoughts and any kind of help.
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you to introduce us, the organizers of the first Hungarian Pro League of StarCraft2. We are currently working on to orchestrate a high level Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm tournament in Hungary. We wish to make it worth competing, and make the very best out of our players, who have great potentials in themselves. We want to help them launching their e-sports career and for some to help take it to a whole new level. Furthermore we would like to offer an excellent show for the fans whose number is already in the thousands, and is still rapidly growing.
We are holding 16 rounds of open qualifiers (which may seem excessive, but since we are working with only Hungarian players, and we want the best of them, this is the best solution to sort things out), and the winner of each advances to the round of 16. We will have a Barcraft event for the round of 8, and a live, LAN event for the round of 4, for the Finals, and Grandfinals. We have the time and location already booked and everything miscellaneous dealt with. The live event will be held in Budapest, on the 19th of October, in the Millenaris Program Center. (http://www.millenaris.hu/rendezvenyhelyszin.html)
As for the Barcraft of the round of 8, it will be in Budapest as well, in a local pub, near the city center. The qualifiers, along with the round of sixteen, will be online events.
The Hungarian Pro League is currently being supported and sponsored by an e-sports team Poisoned Hearts, Sc2btc.com and Tryout.hu, and a number of private individuals. We have a prize pool of 200 euros in cash, and 350 euros for renting the place for the live event. Our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/HungarianProLeague) and our website are still under the developmental phase, however, we have already identified a several graphic artists and web designers who we could work with.
Here I present you the time schedules;

We will be live streaming every single one of the events on twitch.tv. We will not only have a Hungarian but also an English stream. Both streams will be run by professional casters, and streamers. The English stream will be provided by team Poisoned Hearts. We will have the event featured on Teamliquid.net from the round of 16. We are expecting hundreds of people for the live event in Budapest, and thousands of people for the live broadcast, advertised on Teamliquid, and other, huge forums.
Also we are keen on bringing the international Starcraft community closer together, and with the international co-operation, wich is making this possible for us, the amount of help, we get from foreign people, right now in Hungary makes me feel like we are heading towards the right direction.
Our team currently consists of twelve active, hard-working people;
Gyula Berke, Dániel Bálint, Dominic Watts, Willem van Rooyen, Balázs Jáger, Balázs Korcsog Attila Virág, László Nagy, Szabolcs Pásztor, Tamás Kovács and Máté Gulyás.
We wish to make it happen, and to go big, we seek to start developing a thriving e-sports culture in Hungary, and for that, we need more support. Any help granted is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your response, and hoping to get in touch soon.
Yours faithfully,
Levente Kovássy
