do people still play this

people here seem to really not like sc1 lol

i play it once in a while (maybe 2 times since sc2 has come out) and i just get irritated at all the annoying things i have to take care of...

id say most ppl, if any, play sc1 UMS since sc2 UMS is the most pathetically implemented disgrace which is comparable to diablo 3.

I was thinking about playing it again...hoping that it wouldn't be a complete waste of time if I installed it

The new map transfer system is just retarded, limited maps, no file transfers outside of battlenet, PUBLISHING? REALLY? and some maps being available on some servers but not others...

They should have just kept the old map making system that was in wc3 or brood war. If you wanted to play a map, just download it.

Why would we?

I don't know. I find that going back and playing some of the games that I really enjoyed when I was younger can be fun, and sometimes it is easy to get back in to them. I guess I am different than most.
