to get good, watch pro streams, turnaments, get comfortable with micro/macro, learn timings/scouting/ the meta, multitasking, management. If you are actually good at games and somewhat intelligent as well as put in the effort/time it will probably take you atleast a couple of months to become masters ( which still is pretty bad ). otherwise you will be stuck in metal league for life or until a year+ to become diamond-master which is utter trash
or you simply copy a protoss build and get grandmaster in 2 days. If you learn 2-3 builds you could move to korea, enter GSL and probably get into round of 4
