Hi guys.

I've had some problems with Starcraft the past month, I've tried re-installing it twice now but the same problem occurs.
Whenever I tab out, look around and go back tabbing into the game (Doesn't matter if its in-game, lobby or Log-in screen) there“s a 50/50% chance almost that my game will crash.

Is this a common problem? Is there any fix to it?

Appreciate some help,
Regards

That doesn't sound very common.

Mine alt-tabs just fine, sounds like bad comp.

6 Months old computer.

Running Windows 7.
CPU: Intel core i7 3770k
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 kepler
RAM: 16 GB, 2x8192MB DDR3 1600Mhz, Corsair VENGANCE LP
Motherboard: MSI Z77IA-S01, ITX
Primary disk: 250 GB, SSD Samsungs 840-series (The one Starcraft2 is installed on)
Secondary: 3 TB, 7200rpm, 32MB Cache

My computer shouldn't be the issue.

I've even tried installing Starcraft on the Secondary disk. Could it be something like driver errors?

Seems like it is most definitely a possibility.
May be hardware problem.
You should be just fine to alt-tab SC2 lol.

Yes. I didn't have this problem when I started play Starcraft on the computer.
And I haven't done any recent updates that could cause this.

I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to issues like these.
I was hoping this was a common problem, would make my life a bit easier.

I have experienced a problem where the screen goes blank but can stil hear sounds while on SC2 / tabbing.
Also crashed while loading in to game and I tabbed.

I would recommend you do not alt tab while Sc2 is performing any type of task as the battle.net 2 browser before you enter a game is fking slow as shit.

No, since I know I have this problem, I try not to Alt+Tab in mid-game of course.
But alt+tabbing in between games without having to restart the client would be nice to be able to do.

I would suggest you avoid using alt+tab...

Try running it in windowed (fullscreen) mode.

Oh, smart! I'll give that a try. Didn't think of that, thanks!

Edit: How does Full Screen window-mode effect performance while streaming btw?
