Is it worth it to expend resources into buying a reaver and a shuttle and assaulting the enemy's mineral line? Specifically against Terran players, or should I avoid doing this and try something else

Yes, 1 gate robo openings often mean reaver

Be warned though that youll probably lose the first few games since you need to get used to microing against tank mine

Reaver play is really the only way to go...getting 1 scarab off on their mineral line can end the game sometimes. More often used in PvP situations but still strong as fuck PvT.

make sure to stay the fuck away from vikings and marauders

reaver/shuttle is gr8, imo tho use 2 zlot and reaver instead of double reaver.

Use the zlots to distract tank fire

Your reaver shouldn't be drawing tank fire...if you are, you're doing it wrong. Usually it's 1 reaver 1 shuttle and you just leave it half full.
