I was diamond last season with like a 80% W/L.
Played my placement just now and got placed into gold. -.-

I'm playing against other people who are also gold, yet when i check their profile it says they were diamond last season as well.
Is gold the new diamond? are the scrub leagues actually going to be hard now?

they changed masters for 7% to 2% i know a guy who was in masters for like 7 seasons in a row and now hes plat.

You can't be demoted in the middle of a season any longer, only during your placement match...maybe this plays a role?

they have more strict cutoffs for the leagues to keep them at their desired ratios
