I'm hardwired into my router.

And whenever I have Starcraft 2 Online, I seem to get these random disconnects.

It's like my internet connection drops completely dead for 3 seconds. Then it's back up 5 seconds later.

It's such a random awkward disconnect, I don't know whats going on. I've gone through most basic steps of resetting router, swapping ports.

Is there something else I should do? Re-install SC2? :/

I don't know if re-installing will help with disconnecting.

Is it disconnecting from the internet or just battle.net?

If it's from the internet, you may want a new router.

playing against you while i was a cyber caf was one of the more exciting games ive gotten to play since sc2 came out

check if your internet drops while using firefox/browsing. try running runescape or something (ew) just to test if you can stay in the game w/o losing conn for a few seconds.

if it's only sc2....i would consider reinstall (wipe all registry, everything). also consider the new router thing too.

try playing directly connected to your modem and see if it stops disconnecting you so you can tell if its the router

also try updating the firmware on the router
