Hey guys,

I recently started playing Starcraft 2 and I am absolutely terrible at it.
Currently I can not even win again Medium A.I. opponents.

I'm looking for someone who is experienced in SC2 and is willing to help me out.
I am willing to pay Forum Gold for this, because it's obviously taking quite a bit of your time, trying to teach me the game.

If you're interested, please let me know! :)

Cheers!

1st what race are you? pick one that you like. I suggest Protoss.

Then figure out what each units do and understand the basic of the games before actually trying to play...get to know what u can do with each units then u can pratice micro and macro

Watch pro-gamers on featured streams, it helps

Thanks for the info :)

I currently do play Protoss, what's the reason for suggesting Protoss though? :)

Currently watching the DSCL (Dutch Starcraft League) stream. Watched a couple of matches, but it's still hard to see because you can't see it from the player's perspective.
I guess I have to watch just a pro player play some games and learn from that?

I've got no clue what micro's / macro's are though?
I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to online SC2.

Hey man, ik zou je best een paar lesjes willen geven voor fg :) Ik ben master league met zerg maar ik kan ook wel aardig over weg met de andere races. En op jouw niveau is het natuurlijk gewoon de basisbeginselen. LMK

Play the campaign, it teaches you a lot about how to play.

Protoss is generally regarded as the easiest race to learn and to play at low levels.

Macro is building units/buildings/expanding, micro is controlling your units.

At this point, I suggest you look up one professional build order--probably a 1 gate expand of some type--and practice that a lot. Getting coaching at this point won't really help you, just immerse yourself in the game for awhile.

This is also a great suggestion. Although you don't play Protoss, playing the WoL campaign will help you learn a lot about the basics (do WoL, as Terran's macro is a lot more like Protoss's; Zerg has some weirder things going on).
