Does your position in your division give you a rough idea if you're near promotion?

I know it goes on MMR but that's hidden of course.

Are there any indications you can look for to see if you're close to promotion?

Because your mmr is not high enough.

You will only get promoted if you are #1 in your division.

There simply is no other way.
