Hey guys,

I've got the hang of a couple of Protoss openings, though I still need to work on my mid/late game. My macro is pretty bad.

Anyways, I'm having an issue with opponents killing my probes.

I find that once they kill a lot of them I struggle to get back into the game. As Protoss how can I protect my probes, and what's the best way to get back into the game after a large loss of workers?
(I know that it's situational, I'm just looking for general tips.)

Keep your army split between both your bases, have an obs watching his army, if his army is approaching you can bring your army together and fight.

If he does kill probes, just use chrono boost to get out like ~10 probes in 30 seconds.

Good scouting will always save your mineral lines too.

The last game I wasn't able to scout a marine drop in my base in time. I eventually fought him off but he just did the same at my expansion. I wasn't able to get back into the game after that.

Just had nearly all of my probes die to oracles too, I felt like I was behind all game after that and lost to an all in.

e/ Just had a game where I was doing okay against Zerg. I was applying pressure whilst making sure I wasn't supply capped and not pooling resources (Still tricky for me :P).
Then he just rushed round the side with a load of mutalisks and destroyed all my workers while I was attacking. I couldn't get back in the game after that.

early game keep your army around your base and fend it off.
later in the game build 2 cannons on each mineral line to buy time until you get your army there.
evacuate workers as soon as possible.
always have a few warpgates ready to warp in emergency zealots.

out of interest how much energy is needed on the medi to 1 shot it with fb?
