spent so much time trying to be good at zerg, took me forever to only diamond


However i just live in fear of always being all in'd, making my droning hesistant, which causes me to lose too many games

other games i pray to god im not being all in'd and drone like a boss, then still lose cos i forgot to make units / correct units

you need to play other races to oin order to understand their production capacities/builds. this way youll feel more confident with zerg in terms of knowning what the opponentis going to throw at you.

No reason why you can't be the aggressor and do 2 base shit.

But he doesn't know what us opponents are capable f producing etc since he probably hasn't tried the other races

How much time is "so much time" out of interest?

atm you build a drone, it takes 106second before the drone have urned itself
(100overlord/8supply+50drone costs)/0.7drone income per second+17sec drone production time = 106seconds
logicly you can conclude that its unwize to build drones 2 min before a all-in is coming

7miniral mines at a hatchery * 2 drones per mine * 0.7min per sec*15seconds larve spam time = 147minirals per 15sec
2gas mines at a hatchery*3drones per mine*38/60income*15 = 57 gas per 15sec

57gas+147minirals+1larve every 15seconds
subtract the cost of resurch/buildings
if you pay+/- 40gas 100minirals for a assult unit, queen larve inject is not needed
if you build tear 1 zerkling at 10min+ mark, you need inject larve
like drone, a queen needs to urn itself back!
