in tvp...

early game
they get motherwship core which gives high ground vision/can straight up kill a terran if he's playing greedy with no bunker (with 1-2 stalker and a zealot + motherwship core)
it can also harass the mineral line...slow scv's etc if the map allows it (like spawning by air or w-e)
also the mothership core stops any sort of early game all ins (marine scvs all ins, 3 barracks after expand with alot of marauders (at like 8:30 with no medievacs)

mid-game
they hold medievacs timings pretty good with almost no units at all with the mothership core...huge range, does nice dps but damage isnt too big.
Only way I see a protoss die is if they get double dropped or something and they react badly...or they have absolutly no units at all

late game
I turtle with cannons at my third and ht's stalkers in my main while massing a deathball 1aaaaaaaaaa

+++ they have the best 1 base all ins in the entire game...


tvp resumed in less than 2 minutes
every protoss i play either all in or just mass turtle to 200 supply unless I fuck up a battle and they counter attack me lol

u do realize the nexus overload is the same as a photon canon, right?

edit; takes three shots to kill a marine?

because you can't technically "kill" the cannon unless you kill the nexus

a cannon does alot of dps if your army is under 50 supply...

that's like attacking into a army of 50 supply protoss with a cannon but not targetting the cannon, at the end the cannon does huge amount of damage ;/

nexus overload isnt gamebreaking or anything...it kind of tickles bio lol. i use to to focus medivacs if i can so he can't lift and run.

and 1aing vs a good terran will get you completely EMP'd lol

every race gets a free ride to the late game if you play standard (or a free win in the early game)

just because your 1 base builds lose doesnt mean tvp is imbalanced
