One is turn-based, the other is real-time. They are both strategy games, and as is the case with all strategy games, they are more fun when played with someone of a comparable skill level (Unless you're a sadistic fuck with an inferiority complex.)

Why people want to pratice customs everytime instead of just going on korea or europe and pratice there? ladder is way more fun than playing vs friends in useless customs

I hate losing to friends or people I know...rather lose to randoms but that's not the point

ladder = better pratice, you get all 3 races and cheeses, macro, anything can happen, you gotta scout....unlike customs where people just 100% macro
