I see alot of streamers turning there larva into X and then the rally them all afterwards. How are they selecting there morphing larva without Ctr Clicking them to rally?

Possible Answers:
They aren't, rallying larvae is of no consequence so they don't both unselecting them
-or-
They bind eggs to the appropriate control groups before they spawn

They are ctrl clicking them ... when u morphe lets say 20 lings, and ur whole army is already binded to 1, just after u started morphing them, click ctrl + 1 and they are binded to your army

actually it's shift+1 to add them to an already existing army on control 1

i think hes asking how they add just the select amount of larvae they're using.. say 8/12 larvae is used for 8 roches.. how do you add the 8 roaches to ur control key without the 4 larvae

in case anyone needs this question answered now, well

to add the 8 roaches without the 4 larvae, you simply shift+control click on one of the four larvae in tab, then you only have the 8 roach cocoons, which you can add to your army with shift + 1 (if your army is already on 1, else it's control +1)

say you have 20 larva

make 10 eggs worth of lings, you will have 10 eggs and 10 larva selected

control click the eggs to only select the eggs then shift + army hotkey to add them to a hotkey
