Jw what kind of temps you guys are getting when playing on ultra. Mine ranges around 50. I'd post in hardware forum, but I don't think anyone plays sc2 there.

highly depends on your cpu cooler.
with stock intel you probably go up to 60-70°C
with a decent aftermarket cooler you should stay below 50°C at all times

Ah ok, well since it's at 52 with sc2 running I'm happy then. Thing is it's around 40 idle though lol. I had to lower the fan speed because it was going to 6-7k rpm just because it would reach the temp 50. And now with it slowed to 3000 rpm ithe temp is still the same.
Not too sure what the normal temps are for this cpu, but it sounds like it's ok then. Might just be that hot idle considering it's like 75 in my room.
