I think the highest you can place is plat.

I have a friend who placed Diamond but he played a lot of unranked games so his MMR was higher than normal, the highest you can place is Platinum without unranked MMR.

unranked affects your mmr?

i don't feel like laddering much but platinum is bleh

when you first play unranked, it grabs your ranked MMR then is seperate from there
