I feel it's really hard to actually totally CLOSE a game especially in a late game situation well we have like 4-5 bases.
If I do end up winning the fight, they will have reinforcements, and my army is mostly crippled by the previous fight.

Looking for answer vs prot and vs zerg
Also what should my army look like?

vs Protoss you'll want ghosts, vikings, marines, marauders, medivacs. If you win the fight, attack a base or try to kill some production, then run home before his reinforcements get there so you can keep your army alive + heal them before the next fight.

vs Zerg, you can either go mech, which will look like tank/hellion/thor + possibly banshees/vikings depending on their units (vikings if they have broods), bio, which would be marine/marauder/medivac (vikings vs broods), or marine tank, which would be marines, tanks, medivacs (again, vikings vs broods). Add thors if they have mass mutas, you can consider ghosts against large infestor counts but not a lot of people favor that. Same thing as vs Protoss, you'll just want to keep killing hatches/drones and make him run out of money.

Drop in the main. Snipe tech structures (probably won't get the hive, but if you get infestation/spire/etc it's big, vs Protoss look for robos/templar archives, if neither are available hit pylons powering gateways to slow reinforcements). Kill a wayward expansion.

But honestly your problem is likely not having enough production buildings. Make more barracks/factories as the game goes on so you can keep up better with your opponent's reinforcing. That way you can field a 200/200 army faster than he can and continue hammering him into the ground.

its hard for any race to "close" a game assuming you know you've won

sometimes you just have to starve them out and ask them to leave

^ Once you're on 4-5 bases it's going to be about forcing them to use more money than you, starving them out, and denying them expansions.

I understand the comps you are saying
I end up not building vikings a lot because i hater there mechanics, but that leaves my air to only drops so it kinda sucks.

What is stopping me from stopping them from expanding though
Also, when I get 4-5 expansion and upgrades i need, idk what to spend my money on, and end up with a HUGE amount of resources even if i have 200 army and like 10 baracks, 5 or so factories etc...

What do I do in this situation?
(this is including having a shit ton of aa turrs etc)

Aswell, I dont build ghost much just because it's so easy to get countered from an overlord or the invis protoss scout (both flying so cant really do much about it unless i keep them with marines, which is kinda counter productive if they cant be "assassian")
Maybe its just my thought because I feel they should be able to nuke the enemies army if they are not payin attention or something

I do normally do a drop of 2 mines at there mineral line and kill 8 or so workers and pulls them away denying minerals aswell as forcing them to use minerals to research or buy detecting units aswell as pulling some of there army back

I told you you didn't have enough barracks.

Vs Protoss you will lose without vikings if they have colossi. You will lose without ghosts if they have HTs. Ghosts are not used for their invisibility, they are used (mostly) for EMP. Sometimes snipe but from your descriptions I'm going to say that you aren't at the point where you can snipe individual HTs/infestors. So for now just remember: EMP the shit out of everything TvP. Vikings to kill colossi (or brood lords). Ghosts are not commonly used for nuke so for now I would forego that thought process.

When you do drops, drop a full medivac worth of units. 8 marines is no more a sacrifice in the mid/late game than 2 marines, and you will kill more workers/have the potential to take out a base if they don't react quickly.

Terran becomes reactionary late game...you need to build units that counter what your opponents have. If you are facing a Zerg that doesn't have brood lords, you don't need vikings. But when brood lords hit the field, you need to have a good number of vikings for the first engagement or you will just die. Same against Protoss: when your opponent has colossi, you need vikings to kill them or you will just die to their splash. HT counter is ghosts.
