When I get to about 5/7 Scourge Nest's I get my ass handed to me because it is overwhelming. I just want to pass this mission not get the achievements. Tips?

I remember that mission pretty well, I just macro'd up and went Roach Hydra and crushed. If you have that big of problems with it, just save often.

I went mass ling or mass hydra for most of the campaign. With the exception of going mutas once or twice.

ya, just macro'd hydras and roaches, and just used Kerrigan's abilities a lot like Mend and Kinetic Blast on heavy units. Use Kerrigan a lot, she is actually quite useful.

I chose Char first and only have Lings and Banelings. :/

if you can't spread creep and make/control units very well at the same time, bring queens and drones along. Make hatch near the scourge nest and cancel, put creep tumor on the small amt of creep generated by hatchery cancel.

All you need is kerrigan really.

1) get a decent saturation on your mineral line
2) upgrade your lings and blings
3) use your money on lings and blings

i think u can just a-move anything.. the airunits can be handled by kerrigan

I tended to use mass Lings and Queens. I saved a couple times through.. I remember the slightly tough part were the last two Scourge Nests. The Lings I'd use to deal the damage and Queens to heal Kerrigan, provide backup support, and spread creep fast. I used Kerrigan's Baneling Spawn and Kinetic Blast to take out Tanks, Firebats, etc.

Keep a good number of Spines and Spores at your base, too. And don't forget to always make macro Hatches.

Mass Ling / Bane is all you need for that mission, even in Brutal.
