Every race is good.

Pick one you think is cool / fun.

Do you have any rts experience? If no, Terran is probably the most "straight forward" in terms of, make barracks, train units from barracks. The other two races have a bit different of mechanics.

I would say terran is the most micro intensive (coming from my SC1BW experience). Still in sc2 you have to do medivac drops, tank management, scv bunker repair etc.
From what I understand:

Terran - Defensive bases
Zerg - Offensive harrassment and macro
Protoss - ability intensive micro (storm, blink, sentries)

Terran's the best race for a beginner all you need is hellbats and rauders and you beat everything on the ground

Faggotry level atm:
Pure Faggotry: Terran
Sky Faggotry: Protoss
Abused gimp trapped in basement: Zerg

any race is good for beginners. stick to the race you enjoy the most

Protoss and Terran are the most forgiving atm.



If you have little to no RTS experience definitely start T or P.

Honestly the best place to start, if you don't play RTS games, is the WoL campaign. It'll get you through the basics pretty quickly.
