It put zerg into an advantage starting from minute zero and it was unfair and if two players were of equal skill the zerg triumphed over the terran one by default
because zerg had an advantage, you knew that terran had to make early 3 ccs, because otherwise he can't keep up with your standard macro if you do not suck a major dick and roach bane was a direct counter to that early 3rd cc, and every action you made to prevent your death from roach bane has set you back and put you behind economy or army wise
the mechanics of the game created an UNFAIR advantage to zerg, not even a little one, but a major one. If you do not admit that the end of hots in that meta was heavily zerg favored you are just a biased, because everyone relevant did.

Lol, no. You could safely go 3 CC and proactively deal with a roach/baneling all in with scouting and hold it just fine. Saying it gives Zerg an advantage is like saying Terran has an advantage because Zerg will go 15 hatch every time and you can proxy 2 rax to deal with it. Well, no, you can also scout that and deal with it, proactively.

it's not, I just went phoenix colossus, denied every single attempt of harassment, defended with msc + some forcefields against the first push until i had colossus, then i just maxed out and amoved, done some cheesy stargate shit in the next game, and just basetraded and won in the last one, I may even still have the replays somewhere
Basically I've won the second game because my build order was shit for that proxy stargate and he misread it
that's how retarded protoss was in hots
I'm sorry too offend your feelings, but the race was a dozen times easier than terran at the time
I also got 1# eu random for a while accoording to nios.kr after a few weeks of playing as random
oh not too mention the reverse race matches i've played with protosses, never lost a single match.
