Well, many people manage the condition through diet and medication.  I'm not sure what your qualifications are, but if you are good with computers, you could get into jobs, such as web design, computer programing, etc.

lol, you really shouldn't be speaking about things you have very little knowledge about. I had as much experience as your normal high schooler would. It took them 8 MONTHS to diagnose me it takes 3 months for the medication to even START working and half of them do nothing for you.

I spent all day struggling to sleep on my bed, I laugh at the aspect of trying to hold to learn web design and then get work done.

From what I know, with proper diet and antibiotics, most live a relatively normal life and are not bed-ridden. Also, they could have misdiagnosed it, considering it took the doctors 8 months to diagnose you, the tests for it isn't 100%.

It's also a chronic disease, which explains why you've felt fine for last 3 months.

Okay, let me try explaining it an easier way.

It takes them a very long time to diagnose you, like you said the tests aren't close to 100%.

The medication itself is not 100% either and takes many months to even see if it will help you.

Once you find a good medication ( I did 3 months ago) Yes! It is possible to live a normal life! But what do you do in all that down time??? You lay in bed in agony.

So now, yes I can work, but I make more doing this than I could doing anything else.

so, you're arguing that he shouldve got his disease under control faster, and shame on him for not figuring out such an obvious and easy solution?

and this little dabbling of thought you put toward the subject over the past hour or so now trumps miniguns years of consideration and decisions about his own health?

oh my god

It's a chronic disease, as in symptoms are suppose go away and flare up periodically like herpes. Meds are suppose to help manage the symptoms when they flair up. Also, I thought u had it for 3 yrs, you didn't go to the doctor for first 2 yrs you had it??

Not saying that at all, he just didn't seem to know about the disease in detail, so I figured I would tell him what I know about it and if he didn't know about it already, it would only help him.
