have you ever played vs a zerg that didn't make an overseer?.. seriujsly what are you bronze?
Just because they MAKE them doesn't mean they USE them well. When's the last time you saw contaminate used in a pro game? There is some serious potential to fuck up timings/remaxing with good use of contaminate. Delay upgrades, shut down factories/robos...

Nope, ghost timings are shit now, snipe doesn't even 1shot a baneling now - useless
In tvp it's very allinish to go that early for ghosts, cuz they aren't that useful if they don't have proper support.
I used to do ghost timings pre snipe nerf, where i had to play a fucking micro tournament sniping banelings and stuff
I want those times back

Yeah, it isn't really an attack to pressure if you go ghosts TvP, it's intended to kill at least a base...EMP is so strong vs small armies early game though, cut their hp in half and blow through 'em with stim. I kind of want to come up with a TvZ ghost all in now.

All he's doing is creating Nevada-like numbers based off of what he thinks it's like. It's sort of ridiculous.
I feel like nobody has even mastered the protoss race yet. There is so much more people could do with them, but it's hard because none of it comes naturally with the race (1a 1a deathball). Rain and Oz, and Hero, + a few more, are the ones that I've seen play protoss the best.
Zerg is incredibly easy to learn. You just need to learn the concept of injecting hatcheries with larvae, and scouting/reacting to everything your opponent does. That is all there is to zerg. Plus a bunch of bullshit apm-intensive moves. Basically, you need to understand a few concepts of zerg, then spend the rest of your bronze-through-masters(or gm) time perfecting all of it.
Terran can be played more ways than any other race. This leaves more room for creativity. This also makes them harder to learn. The easiest way to play Terran is MMM. Once you play people that know how to use colossus and banelings, you need to learn timings for that and the correct unit composition. As terran, if you're caught off guard with a tech switch, you are FUCKED. Whether it be hts, infestors(and you only have mmm), colossi, archons, whatever. If they have 5 upgraded archons with a bunch of zealots to support, and you don't have ghosts, you lose the game. That is why terran is the hardest race to learn.
We started to see flashes of ingenuity in PvZ with the sentry warp prism play. There is a ton more potential for harass combos, like observer stalker attacks we saw early after release/in the beta, HT drops, more DT play (esp mid/late game), FF + storm...I think HotS will bring more avenues for Protoss to experiment. The problem is that most of what Protoss can do is little gimmicky plays that will happen maybe once every 5 games where you see the perfect spot to do some fancy pants shenanigans. The potential plays are devastating, to be sure, but so difficult to find the right circumstance. We might see expanded harass opportunities for Protoss in the mid game but the problem is that without splash damage, they're too vulnerable to getting raped by a timing if the opponent recognizes that they're going for harass.
And Terran is the hardest to master, IMO, because of the micro required. Splitting is hard. Getting caught unsieged is easy. Figuring out what counters you need when isn't so bad because of scan, but you're right--miss a window and you're in deep trouble. Usually you can survive the first attack on MMM (or marine tank, whatever you want) but if you don't start the switch right after that, or you're far away from the required tech, you're dead. Miss micro against splash damage? Dead. That's why mech is becoming so popular. Miss micro again--oh wait, little to no micro required. Just macro like a mofo and get vikings when you see broods.
