its not always necessary to force field, if your sentrys are low on energy and you are not facing melee units, why force field when you can absorb with hallucination or put up guardian shield.

Hallu costs way more energy than forcefields (100 vs 50)...so what you've said here already makes no sense. :wacko:

Forcefielding ranged units is completely viable - so you're blatantly wrong again :/. You can use them to give yourself an advantage in a ranged vs ranged battle by limiting the amount of units on their side that can shoot (pushing them back in certain areas). In the end, you have a better concave. As well, you can cut off OR trap their army in a lot of situations. Ranged or not, this spell is ALWAYS useful.
