broodlord are not loosing from the spores
locust not allow bloodling serround, allow spore overrun.

yesterday i was watching a replay, and i did some bad micro,
i run 1 spore under 10 muta, i needed to go Off-creep to enter his creep, it was under attack for 15+seconds, and still it managed to bring down a muta, for the 2sec i was shooting.

a little teoriecraft about broodlord vs spore:
Brood Lord: 1.4062 speed / 9.5range
Spore: 2.5 speed on-creep / range 7 / 6seconds Root time

So if spore starts to root under broodlord,
1.4062*6seconds=8.44range the broodlord can fly away
broodlord have only 1.44seconds to fly away from 1 spore, if laster it sill be shotted
2-3spores rooting arround broodlord position not allow broodlord to escape.
be sure, that broodlord can ascape to hi-ground, whitin 7range

yes, a little broken, but then zerga-players should build muta less, then there was nn to make spores imba!
they should give spores a little void-damage bonus!

good player micro'iong the BL's should never, ever die to spores imo. if they scoot and shoot the broodlings, should be able to escape 99% of the dps from the spores... :/

howmany zergling does it take to kill 1 spine crawler?


spine:
2armor
300life
25damage Cooldown: 1.85sec ===> effective dps vs 35life zergling = 35/50*25/1.85 = 9.5dps



zergling:
5damage-2armor / Cooldown .696 = 4.31zergling dps vs spine

300life needs to be destroyed / 4,31 dps zerglings = 69,6 attack seconds for 1 zergling, if not die.
goal = zergling die+spine die, everything dies!

35life zergling / 9,5spine dps = 1zergling die every 3.69seconds = 0.271zergling die per second

69.6 seconds/ avg number of zergling *0.271zerglings destroyed per second from spine = total numbers of zerglings

(69.6 / x)* 0.271 = 2 x
(69.6/x)= 7.38 x

x = 3.1
total number of zerglings needed to destroy 1 spine = 7

spine cost = 7minirals for larve + 25minrals for drone + 100minirals for spine = 132minirals (125excl. larve)
zergling cost = (7*0.5larve+25+(1/16supply*100))*7zerglings = 243.25 (218.8, excl. larve)

if zerglings, you need extra larve=no free larve
if spine, nn extra larve=sheaper, almost free larve

so to protect myself vs urly zerglings, its beter to build 2 spines, then to build zerglings, even if 1 spine kill them all, ontop you have 2areas covered

i just showed thats its imposible to micro your broodlord out of mutliple-spore-overrun, since the fast root time+slow fly time

broodlings dps per bloodlord, when fully stacked = 8sec duration + 1spam per 2.5sec + 6.2dps = 19.84dps
total dps when firing longer then 8 sec = 27.84 dps from broodlord at 713minirals(incl gas)
spore = 125minirals

27.84dps / 713minirals = 0.039 dps per miniral invested in broodlords
52.3 / 125 = 0.418 dps per miniral invested in spores

0.418/0.039=10.72% dps of spores
10.72% dps of spores = 100%dps of broodlings
per invested miniral.

so if you add near double life+tec-costs ontop of that
its about 5% of minirals needed in spores to destroy 100% of the resorces someone invested in broodlords, only thx to swarmhost

the fun shit was that 10rouches counth for 2 spines.



i have 7 more roaches, and still loose the battle. no fancy micro or any involved!

spine ground dps=13.5
roache ground dps = 8
queen dps = 8

13.5*2+8=35dps from 2 spine+1queen
8*7=56dps from 7 extra rouches

i start battle, i even get reinmforcments of like 5-6roaches, i even force-fire-click on the roaches, i even snipe 2 rouches, before spines are in range
but the extra range of spores+queen, give him the battle win anywhy!
2 swarmhost would have slayed them all!

not to mention that he excluded range and movementspeed.
by his theory all zerglings teleport immediately right around the spinecrawler.
