my urly swarmhost build works great for team play.
it allow me to push against 4 players at ones, whitout fear, whitout party needed.
yes, in 1vs1, some people abandone theire base and go for my drones in my main.
but if swarmhosts are there, your army value counts 4 times, so finetuning my build for 1vs1, vs dronekilling+army-kiting targets, is just a mater of delaying attack for 30-60sec and leaving behind 2 swarmhost near the main.
the standard zerk opening?
droning, first 5min ingame are fully foccused on larve production (larve are not free, they are expensive, already posted alot of larve teoriecraft before !)

zerg have 0.27life points per game second repleneshing, witch will benefit mass life stuctures more then low life units
zergling 35life, no armor, 7.2dps(5attack, so 1 armor=-20%damage)
larve cost > 8minirals or something+1/16*100supply+25 = 39minirals per zergling
so if you look at life/armor
queen => 1miniral = 1life
zergling => 1miniral = 39/35*0.9no armor = 0.8life
spore => 400/125= 3.2life for 1 miniral
spire => 300/150*1.1more armor = 2.2life for 1 miniral
hatchery => 1500/350= 4.3life for 1 miniral
swarmhost/locust => 65life*2locust*2.4per min/60sec over 363minirals => 0.014 damage tanked per 1ingame second per 1miniral spended !
locust => 175minirals per queen*0.0143damage tanked per ingame second per miniral spended = 2.5damage tanked per second ==> 175queen life / 2.5life drained per sec = 70seconds ==>
if spent your minrials on swarmhost instead of queens, you get the same survival as if your queen dies+respawns for free, every 70seconds (70*0.8=56seconds for zergling)
so if you look at the 39minrials per zergling, and 100*1.25+200+3/8*100supply=362 per swarmhost
and you have a 6+min of swarmhost ingame, then
362/39/2*(6min*60sec/56sec) =
30times as many larve needed to allow zergling tank the same as swarmhostsyou only need 1 queen for the overpowered creep-tumor production, to allow to benefit from Lair-Overlord-Creep spread anywhere on the map, to allow your spores+spires be placed anywhere on the map, and to give lucust a +40%movement speed, and +30%swarmhost movment speed, and to have map vision like a protoss who nn to pay for observers!
so instead of 5+min of resorces spendings to buf up larve production, i prefere to buf up tec, to make larve counth for 30!
