You're all pretty retarded. High golds vs platinum and even diamonds all the time in the ladder. So these two fighting would be a pretty even matchup. But if you think that the plat is better just because thats his rank you couldn't be more wrong.

Probably because those players have not played in months so their skills are currently at that level. They could have just been promoted so they are still facing Gold. Also the fact that people de-ranking on purpose too. I hope you understand now.

See how they play, learn what they do that can beat you.

Like being better? LOL you cant learn anything which you can't actually do. Watching someone slam dunk isn't going to get me better at dunking.

I agree, watching can only get you so far. I don't want to bash you Bard but that would be like I watch GSL so I can play like Code S players lol.

This is so true.
I watch HerO any chance I get and almost came close to grabbing his dick at NASL3
Still can't play like him

It's not WATCHING, it's PLAYING against them. If you've ever played basketball - if you're playing someone at or below your level, you're less motivated to try your best. Everyone knows if you're playing against someone better than you, not only is it more "fun" (challenging) but you also push yourself to do better, = get better.

Nah, that is somewhat true. But if you really want to get better you should always be playing your best/training. Do you think the people who are better did nothing? They trained/work really hard.

Plus you have to account, hard work can only get you so far. Just like in sports, people have that natural ability/are able to achieve things others can not.

But I guess you can argue even through hard work you can be just as great. For the romantics out there.

Watching is not helpful if you cannot execute. I watch a lot of top players playing and study their timings. But fuck if I can do 190 APMs... like I cant set up engagements and shit, that shit comes from experience.

Metagame comes from watching and also from experience. I hate to watch Idra because he's always greedy and that's why he loses alot to all ins and such. INB4YOUDONTSAY.JPG

I just like to watch pro players do what I could never do on my own :)
