In their defense, you have to atleast try to do dmg when you go muta ling/bane.  You can't just make them and sit on them, they become almost useless mid/late game.  They just gauged tank count wrong cuz tank lines kept stretching.  It's easier to criticize them as an observer, but it's different when they only see like 2 tanks when there are actually like 5.


how do they become useless?
drg even managed to break bombers push while bomber was at 200/200 and drg not even maxed

They become increasingly useless as they approach late game and bomber's tank/marine count and upgrades increase. DRG only managed to do so cuz he didn't let bomber reach that critical point.

3-3 and 200/200 isnt "that" critical point?

He was only 2-2 and like 140 or something when he was still making them for offense. He obviously still has to make some ling/bling, but it was for defense rather than offense. Then, he teched to infestor/broods, but by then bomber was ahead in econ and tech.

Does anyone know if its possible to watch VOD's from IPL 5 games? I missed Bomber vs DRG and I would love to see it.

The reason he went bling/ling/muta was so he can do dmg early. Even if he didn't have such poor engagement, if you don't do dmg and sit around, he gets behind. My point is that you have to attack at that point and hope you do enough dmg to set you ahead, otherwise, you get behind no matter what.
