Yeah here's the thing, you played at such a low level that, like our better players on the forum who to say to the lower level players, you wouldn't know the first thing about balance in a sport, what rules effect the players, and just how much those seemingly minor details effect the game. Not saying I know, but playing sports up to 11th grade is like being a bronze league player and your ideas about balance or nonbalance of a sport are essentially meaningless.
Rules in sports change all the time because of what we would call in Starcraft, balance issues. I have no idea why somel of you get so hung up on an analogy that actually makes sense just because it doesn't fit your thought process.
RROPPSA is provincial tournament so yeah, must be a bronze league.
Also you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about if you're trying to say that theres a balance issue in sports
Don't really want to get into sport theory but balance issues exist in all sports, the weight of the baseball, the width of the sideline, rule changes - you name it almost any sport has had struggles with balance issues.
LOL "weight of the baseball" wheres the balance issue in that?
Width of the sideline? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
The "balance" becomes an issue if it favors one side over the other.
Because the baseball is "heavy" or "light" does that make it easier for pitcher A to throw and not easy for pitcher B to throw? or is it more advantageous for the pitcher rather than the batter? no it affects both sides equally.
Sure there are rule changes, the biggest issue with NBA in the recent years was the hack-a-shaq rule (you wouldn't know what this is, I won't even bother explaining a foreign subject of physical activity to a scrawny fuck like you)
Teams would foul Shaq who was a horrible free throw shooter and force him to the free throw line to stop the clock and switch possession after the play but is this a balance issue?
No because although the opposing team gets what they want by stopping the clock forcing a change of possession and the opportunity to run their own play they put them selves in the penalty making it easier for Shaq's team to play more aggressive to get their better shooters to the line, force the opposing team to loosen their defense to avoid fouling out etc.
Instead of thinking you know a thing or two about sports, why don't you tell me what your idea of balance issue in sports is?
