I listen to almost every kind of music too. But it's a fact that it is better to play while listening to non-vocal music.

Yeah true, but that Electro suff is too stressful imo. I prefer more calm nonVocal music

I am kinda listening for music that is not too heavy but turns me on. I've been listening to relaxing music but that i found out that it slows me down and i definitely need to get faster.

Why not try playing without music? I did that for a little bit; it really opened up my mind and I played better. Was a little too bland for me though.
