Yes, they could get quick, easy money off all the WoW kids, but as I understand Blizzard they prefer to create games that have longevity.  Starcraft is starting to flounder a bit there, so I would anticipate a good wait before they go after another RTS, given that the market is shrinking.

RTS genre isn't actually dying, it's just that the market is crowded with younger people, and also not too clever ones, it's just that the technology became so common every single plebeian can have a proper pc or consoles and play games. That's the reason rts not getting as much attention as other genres, since it requires some level of intellect higher than other genres to be able to enjoy it, (I'm not saying that other genres aren't that joyful, or only stupid people play it) and because of that it's just a smaller fraction of the whole market, but it isn't really smaller than it used to be.
