I gave up trying to hold protoss 1base plays with the nat. If there's no expand by 5 minutes I just lift the nat and bunker on the highground. Then they warp in 2 sentries, expand, and deny your natural for the next 4 minutes until you get medivacs out with enough units to push him out of the nat, and now he's on equal econ and can continue the game


Pretty pathetic but that's life. I've had VR and immortal all-ins pop as much as 4 bunkers before

some early pressure on toss usually works well.

take advantage of the fact it takes a while for the army to get big enough to really cause damage as well as the high cost of units. doing something like building a gas at his main with your scout probe/scv/drone can fuck up a toss hardcore.

and as always drops are very useful.

taking a gas doesn't do anything to a FE build, waste of your time (and the fast scout will waste your minerals)

and drops are much less useful now that they can lol-nexus-cannon and warp in 4 zealots.

Some quick math suggests that you can MSC cannon, wait 30 seconds, cannon, wait 30 seconds and cannon a third time

thats 4 minutes of nexus cannoning, lolol

its almost easier to stop, just have to pull probes




Edit: all of this is assuming no stalkers in the main ofc, cuz any number over 1 (number of hotkeys required) is a number so close to infinity that I can't even fathom it

Terrans CAN win this matchup, they just have to be exponentially better players than the protoss.

Maybe at noob level.
But when both have good micro/macro terran pretty much owns protoss... look at Taeja late game vs any protoss, ghost/medivac/viking/marauder >>>>>>>>>>>>>
