I dont think much of his enthusiasm is fake. I do admit he does fake it sometimes, but most personalities do. It's their job. They make more money the more people are invested into sc2 / esports.
I'm not talking about hyping up a game that might not be that interesting.

Al though even when he does that it's super annoying... he moans...
And that he makes this comment in this article just shows his true personality as well, he been silently hating on Idra for a while (since Idra straight up said he's a faker, also due to money related stuff).
And now he finally had the possibility to stab back without anyone thinking anything of it... that's how calculated he is.
