I use this build and it works out fine with the upgrades. You can be maxed out at 15:00 with 3/3 close to finishing and you take 2d gas at 7:30.
this is the leenock build, but the gas timings are a bit quirky, and the hive is late enough to make 2base colossus timings a threat. Ofc you could skip the infestors if he takes a third and probably be just fine. As is, ultras won't pop until 14:30 and plating won't be done till 15 ++++++
