Well I do have a gtx 460 sitting in my closet, but I think the card I've got in right now is better.

Typically you run Intel with Nvidia. Amd with Radeon. I think because they have software that suppports each other.

Answering your other question. Vertical Sync allows your graphics card to produce the maximum frames that your monitor can output which is usually 60hz anything more than that is wasted energy/fps.

Yeah I know the fps will be fixed at 60, I will try playing with vsync on and see if it helps. Also, how do I clean up my registry? avg said I have a bunch of errors there but its making me pay lol

I'm seeing boon and boondoogle, does anyone have experience with either?

I've done a defrag, checked for current drivers, turned on vsync. Just looking to clean up my registry now, what would be the best way to go about this? Read some reviews on free reg cleaners and they didnt seem very good =(

mm, if you're interested in learning combofix, it's the best malware/registry cleaning tool i've ever used.

it's a bit too strong, though, and if you're not careful you can remove some shit you don't want to remove and fork your install.

if you're lagging with your current hardware, it's because of stronk porn virus in 2012-13; it's best to just backup all your important shit to a flash drive and do a fresh install.

also, remove AVG and any other antivirus software that you use, just be careful where you internet and run malwarebytes if you think you dun goofed.

i mean, you can still misclick in some shady porn sites, especially with some of the browser vulnerabilities that were flash based earlier in 2012.

if you're dying with youtube open, i'll assume you're using firefox and could be suffering from a hijacked browser that's pinging adware IPs in the background and it's causing the memory leak in the plugin container to eat up your CPU. leave your youtube open and check your task manager, then see how much of your CPU is being consumed by the youtubes.

e: if that's the case, you can download hijackthis and run a scan, then post your scan results in the forum and see if anyone can help you out.

i recommend doing the same if you attempt to run combofix.

I would guess it's because you don't have a video card and are just using the integrated one.  Get a new video card and your problems should diminish.

obviously didn't reap original post.....teen jspers lol
