If you're doing Photoshop, you would be better off with the 8350 over an i5. The added cores make it better for multi-threaded applications, but i7s are better than the 8350. Getting an 8350 will alow you to save a lot of money, though, so I would recommend it (allowing you to buy a better GPU).

Inb4 Intel fanboys come at me.

EDIT: 8350 with a Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 and a 7870 or 560ti(maybe even a 660ti [7870 is better and only slightly more expensive than the 560, but the 660ti is better than both]).

as a amd owner, i can 100% tell you intel is the way to go

2x 560 ti's aren't terrible

tho id get a 660ti over em

Depends on what you do, tbh, and what your budget is. I'm all about budget builds, and I have 1000000000000 processes running at once on my desktop, so the 8350 would be more useful than a 3570k, for me. The price also makes me smile (note, the mobos are also much cheaper).

2x 560ti would be expensive and pointless. You could get a 7970 for the same price. :P

Speaking of which, GTX 670 was $280 on Boxing Day. Too bad I'm poor and stuck with a 6870.

EDIT: I don't even know how to use my MacBook anymore. Wtf is this overpriced trash?

820, you really have to study up a lot more on what it is you want from what i can tell. If you're a gamer and a streamer, that just screams Custom built computer.

Laptops are not good, at all. The one single benefit of a laptop is mobility/size. That is it. The benefits of a Desktop far outway the negatives.

I agree with these guys, especially since I own a 3570k and my buddy owns the 8 core amd processor these guys have been talking about. Intel is better in general and should be bought with a $1000 build. As for graphics card anything around a 550 ti would do just fine.

of course it doesnt thats a processor

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230580 looks like a good deal on a laptop

thing is about a "streaming laptop" is its going to be a big laptop like that^ one so if your reasons for wanting a laptop are to take to school its not a good idea

and dont get a laptop with 2 gpus because it will be like 6 inches thick

So would that one be better than the MSI one I linked earlier?

Someone also linked this to me;

Every powersupply works fine these days. You don't need a 100 dollar + one. And you can even squeak by with 600 watt if you dont plan on adding future gphx cards.
