Just lost two games in a row.

First game I knew he was doing some cheese, drone scouted at 13, saw no FFE etc... threw down 2 spines.

3 mins laters, its a four gate. I didnt have enough defenses, now I know not to underestimate it. (I kept trying to expand off it...)

Lost that

Next game, he goes 13 pool with extrac with speed earlier than me, I 12 pooled. Long ass battle back and forth, till he ling run bys and keeps like 5 in my corner of my base, makes 12 banes, kills all my drones... he's able to drone up safely I lose the war of attrition because he techs up to infestor ling and fucks me up...

I hate this game sometimes.

As soon as you see he didn't FFE build a roach warren.

Mass speedlings with 2 spines in front of natural shits on any non FFE gateway aggression
Speedlings to deny pylons, they are cost effective vs zealots because no FFE means no +1
Save gas and transition into 2 base muta while harassing/denying natural as long as possible

I cancelled the hatch because I thought it was a two gate, I had lings out but not enough to stop it.

Whatever works for you I still prefer roaches vs gateway units because I can micro them and be more cost effective. But if lings work for you, rock lings.
