Can you not read? That chart was a guide to show people how to be promoted. And that guide is now obsolete.

It was a chart showing people the expected number of ladder points earned when a player has advanced to the next Elo bracket. The two ARE correlated. Note how the thread specifically says ALMOST, and not DOES. If the leagues were based on ladder points, Blizzard could make a promise. But it's not. It's based on Elo (well, MMR, which is a variant of the Elo system. Just to cut off your next attempt at a bullshit technicality before it happens).

But by all means, continue to be obnoxiously wrong in the face of people who know better than you. Heck, if you have all the answers, why did you ask this question in the first place?
