In other news, I got my job back with Starbucks today. Was never technically fired.
Old boss tried to blackball me and not get me hired when I was transferring to Orlando, FL.
Because I had broken my toe pretty bad, two days before a shift back in December. Couldn't come in. I tried to get shift covered, it was x-mas time, too busy. He said if didn't come in, there would be
consequences so I didn't come in, because my toe's broken, lol. But he's the kind of guy who always gets his way. He never called me to come in for the 4:30 am shift or anything.
But then later, as I was in the process of moving from Largo, to Orlando. All of a sudden, after there was space in Orlando for me? After the store managers talked to him about my other employee info, etc. All of a sudden there wasn't any positions open.
Took it up with Starbucks Corporate. They saw the huge potential medical lawsuit, and saw all I wanted was my minimum wage job back. And went "LOL. GIVE HIM A FUCKING JOB."
