To give you an idea how bad unranked is, whenever Derek used to que for unranked, late at night drunk, i'd try to snipe him and then it was always auto-win.

why is unranked bad? It's just like starting ladder from scratch on a completely new mmr, you just don't get points, and do not have a visible progress.

You don't get points, there is no visible progress, there is no reason to strive for win because its completely meaningless. Thats why you have people playing off races, fucking around or just simply leaving the game whenever they feel like it.

Yes but you're missing the point. You strive to win, thats why you play ladder. On ladder, its important to win, if you dont win you dont get promoted, you never reach above bronze without wins. If you didnt care about being masters you would not get so insulted each time I called you Diamond. Clearly masters does mean something, and people try to get it, they play their best to get to that point. In unranked, there is no motivation, it doesnt yield anything other than a practice build with an offrace or just a silly build. Thats why you dont see me bragging that I slammed Derek so many times in unranked - because its meaningless.

The point is that I still do my best in unrankeds even though there is no reward or anything, i just simply play for victory, not points. Also never really cared about your insults.

Thats your opinion, but the majority of people play unranked simply because its unranked. They dont play it with the thought that they have to win as they do on ladder.
