I never claimed to have make them.
I found them and thought I'd share to the rest of you.

It's nice to see the actual changes on "paper". :)

Yeah I know you didn't claim to

I'm not at all good at the game.
I've only been platinum at the highest.

StarCraft II is my favorite game however and I try follow the competitive scene as much as I possibly can.
I do enjoy the game a lot, but I have a hard time learning from my mistakes and improving as well as Counter-strike competitive takes away way to much time from me.

I see, you've been playing sc2 for a few months right? like you never played WOL? what race are you?
I remember when I was really into sc2...from 2010 release date - til prolly june 2013 (stopped playing like 3 months after HOTS came out and played HOTS alot)

Watched most of the GSL games at night (only cold S terran games) for like 2 straight years, watched streams like demuslim/byun/mkp/polt alot

Anyway I enjoyed game for a long time, WOL was gay broodlord infestors tvz unbeatable...tvp was hard but not as much as now with the msc (msc basically was the #1 reason why I did quit sc2 in HOTS)...this game always been imbalanced one way or another unless you play protoss

anyway when HOTS came out, the game was revived for maybe the first 2-3 months I played...end of WOL it was kinda dead
but after 2 months in HOTS most of the terran played quited the game due to the terrible imbalance...it felt like you'd play and never get better because it was so much imbalanced and no matter what you do you'd lose to a deathball 1a'd or to a zerg outmacroing you doing nothing all game
the lack of GSL games, lack of tournaments streams, artosis never casting GSL anymore everyday like he used too (because he lost his passion for the game), all the pro gamers retiring, lack of the good players streaming and the decrease of the entire sc2 population/streaming views really made me lose my interests for sc2 all together

then started csgo in like october once they changed the entire game with a new patch, then had not play sc2 ever since kinda bcuz I really enjoyed csgo and it wasn't imbalanced and I needed a change
but im just really tired of csgo now...when you played it alot its just always the same thing and it gets more frustrating than sc2 when you lose because of other people and get shitty teammates 24/7
I only play maybe 1-2 games a week when im bored and thats it

Now I seen the last sc2 patch buffs/nerfs and I liked them and if they do add this PTR thing they're testing, it's really going to seem very good and might be worth actually playing this game again
but even then, the population of sc2 decreased by like 50% comparing to probably like last year
its just really hard to make a choice and decide if I want to invest time on a game where I know people barely play anymore

yeye I know this sounds like a negative post, but if u played from the beginning you'd notice a huge change in the population too, even sc2 forum is dead now...which is why I dont post here anymore lol

You make a fair point.
but no, I've actually played since three months before Hots release.

I only play casually and due to the cs:go activity I can't spend to much time on it. I actively play competitive together with a full lineup. We even have schedual for practice.

a part from that I have a full time job. I wish I could take the time to play as much as I was able to as a kid but that's impossible.
but I don't mind being bad at Starcraft. I have a fun time playing it and there's no better feeling than having pizza night in the couch infront of a sc2 tournament or even driving down to dream hack to see all the tournaments live.

Personally I don't like playing 2 diff game at the same time, cuz it affects my skills for whatever game I play lol...like example if u play sc2 and then go on csgo, you dont get the mouse sensitivity consistancy bcuz both game its different sensitivity and it affects your play on sc2 (not as much on csgo)

So you been playing for like a year and playing casually (which imo is prolly like estimatly about 6 months of an intense gamer playing/watching?)
That's when it's the most fun to watch games because you got so much to learn everyday and getting better...ranking up in leagues especially under diamond because people make so many mistake you just gotta capitalize on them
and the thrill and goal of actualy one day reaching masters is fun (after master its kinda boring, cuz alot harder too depending what race you play)

Its like having a gf, always intense first few months then it slows down
Sc2 for me just got really stale...watching the same build orders in WOL for 3 years and a slight variation in HOTS except different unit composition tvz for example (mines) but always same 1-2 build order per matchup for terran it gets boring

I used to be a never miss gsl code S guy a bit over a year like you not wanting to miss MLG's and stuff but my passion completly went away...which I didn't think it could happen

As I said before the lack of stream tourny going down in 2013, population leaving, streamers retiring, gg players not streaming much or anymore at all (polt for example), the best casters not casting sc2 anymore at all (artosis)
and blizzard ignoring/not addressing any major balance changes actually killed the game (so to speak, arguable) took them 4 years to actually make some decent change and start listening to the community

and they're just now addressing and starting to make changes after they realized their game was totally going down completly
you may not see this because you played since end of WOL but I can ;/

its sad...because sc2 was such a gg/fun game and they somehow managed to ruin it (like d3, even though it was a fail from the start)
the only way they'll be able to bring back a good chunk of all the people that have quit, is with the protoss expansion

yeah i know another tl;dr post, im bored..

We'll see.
I probably wont play more than I do now. I enjoy casual play, and I'm perfectly aware that watching streams will help me improve.
And it does really :) I learn a lot from it, the problem is that I don't put down enough time to execute what I learn. Whether it's build orders, micro etc..

I really hope Legacy of the void will be released in a near future. - It's always fun with expansions for casual players like myself.
But sure, reaching Masters leauge is a personal goal. One that might never be achieved if I don't start playing more.

Yeah for sure, you enjoy and got alot to learn because you've been playing for only 1 year and casually

that's when it's the most fun ofc, so ofc for you its gg still because you're still a recent player and didn't really notice the huge change in population compared to a few years ago...they're used to be 3 days week-ends MLG every month, and other EU tournies
now there's none...

my point was just to say like
after playing and watching so long...I know 95% everything about the game (terran only tvp tvt tvz, not speaking about other races) I only play or care about terran 1v1
so I know all the build orders, counters, how to defend, reactons, most cheezes...I know how to play good basically

when I watch a game I dont get this "OH SHIT this was sick or OR WOW I need to try this build" because I've seen it all...its really repetitive
one tricky or cheezy build order thats new that comes up every few months (mostly when balance changes) but never last very long

so when I see them its not rly fun when I've seen the same thing for the last 3 years...and I can do the same except my macro/micro is just really worse than progamers

I was master, but for 2 years i'd just log and play good game sense wise but I'd lose mostly because of imbalances
I couldn't get better anymore...

I'd get tvp's play very good and then just get destroyed late game you know because one race requires no micro...its so frustrating
you know when with MSC you cant kill a protoss before the 13-14 mins mark 95% of the time, and get forced into playing a macro game and get totally destroyed because their race has a free road to the late game and far superior late game than terran

I know it sounds like im whining but whatever lol

Eventually, once you ignore Nevada long enough, or if you bring up something that makes him mad, he'll bring up mundane stuff like his e-pixels or e-reputation.

He's been exposed by using one of his multi's like this.
