sending 1-2 or even 10 lings is unrealistic, they all get gunned down by the rines before a widow even goes up. you have to commit a third of your army in hopes that a few widows go off and then you have to deal with the maxed army since you just lost 1/3 of yours and terran lost 0 but a few detonations that cost nothing

What if i told you that you can just send in a fuckload of overlords instead of army supply and then engage? Wow that'd require a fucking functional brain, that's not the zerg's way I guess.

Defensive widow mines are not hard to deal with. What's hard to deal with is the inevitable widow mine push that good terrans do where you're either forced to engage on their terms or lose a base. The thing is that widow mines CAN be very very hard to deal with, whereas it really just requires someone whos not autistic to use them properly.

Then you win the game. Sounds like a good business to me. Anyways, send in 235235 overlords, and most mines detonate, if he unburrows, just proceed to engage, and dont let him kill your overlords in vain, he is forced to burrow then, and most widowmines will just go off on overlords. (This whole process is like 3-4 seconds)
