Wrong. Wrong, and wrong. You do realize in the BW scene there was 2v2 in pro league? Oh wait, you probably don't you're probably fresh new blood in the starcraft scene who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, and just feeds off the awful 1v1 community.
Put it this way bro people i've beaten in 1v1 on my stream:
Polt
CatZ
DDE
Ostojiy
ST_Rainbow
dTefel
^-- just to name a few.
Lots of barcodes that are obviously pro gamers.
I play 2v2 all day long, and have the ability to beat people like that? Bro I don't even 1v1. Lots of people seem to think 2v2 can't translate into 1v1 skill, but what they don't really seem to get is that in the top tiers of 2v2 it's exactly like playing 1v1 the same strategy applies in macro than it would in 1v1. The only difference is there isn't NEARLY as many mineral patches to take so you're on a timer, meaning you have to make your units count, and the game can't go on for an hour.
The point is, there's not a single person on jsp, and I'd venture to say there's less than 1% of sc2 players who would have the ability to play 2v2 with random allies, as random race, and go 55-0 <-- streak 58-1 ( current. )
And so before you talk shit, use your brain.
the difference is nobody good really bothers to play 2v2
they spend their time playing 1v1s
also, I just checked and you were in platinum in 2v2s last season. So... you climbed from platinum MMR to masters. What's your point? I imagined your first loss would have occured much sooner anyways.
