yes razer is notorious for having little to no durability
the electronics on their products are fine though, its mostly the plastic parts they use for parts that receive the most wear and tear

get somethig like a g5 or if you have a claw grip like me get a microsoft comfortmouse6000. ive had mine for a long time with constant wear and its great. I ate through my deathadder and abyssus like cheddar

I have the naga epic (wireless 12button on side) mouse and it was working great, rotating colors and stuff, the lights stopped working after a couple months.....really disappointed in a almost 130dollar mouse,
if you get it from bestbuy you best get the 10 or 15dollar coverage whatever it is. or if you have a friend who works at bestbuy use his employee discount to get it for cheap.
the lights do look cool but sometimes when i watch videos in the dark if i hook it up to the TV screen via HDMI, then I have a hard ass time looking for my mouse if I forget where I placed it.
I only got this mouse mostly for dota2 usage easier to click the item slots to use them, so it still works in that aspect. However don't expect much out of Razer products. It's just the logo/brand that make it more "expensive".

There“s alot of discussions regarding Razer Products going on everywhere.. Its like Ailenware.. You either hate it, or love it.
I'm using 90% of my gaming gear as razer Products, the reason I say 90% is because my Razer headset broke after 3 years of usage and I bought myself a Diablo3 Themed V2.

I've had around 4-5 Deathadders within 5-6 years. I do agreed, that they could perhaps have a better Life lenght, but I really love the mouse so much that I really dont care if I have to buy a new one every year :D

Using razer lachesis (mouse) and razer tarantula (keyboard)

Mouse no problems whatsoever. Keyboard had ice tea spilled on it and still functions fine (keys are sometimes a little bit harder to press than normal due to the stickyness).

Razer products are shit.

Headsets? Shit.
Mouse? Shit. (Except the razer imperator was decent)

Honestly, Amazon reviews are a great way to keep track of what is actually good or not.
